Download and Configuration

To install and configure the XCOR Virtual Space Expedition on your iPhone or Android smartphone follow these steps carefully. Currently only iOS and Android are supported. THIS APPLICATION IS FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. Please refrain from distributing it to third parties. Thank you.

EXPERIENCE THE XCOR VIRTUAL SPACE EXPEDITION ON YOUR IPHONE: 

1. Download the appropriate file on your computer by option clicking (MAC) or right clicking (PC) and select "save as" (or similar, depending on your browser):

2. Download the app 360 Video Digital Immersion onto your iPhone via the AppStore.

3. Connect your iPhone with your MAC or PC and open iTunes. Make sure to only connect when you have completed the first two steps!

4. In iTunes click on the phone icon on the upper left corner and then on "Apps" underneath it.

5. On the right side all your installed apps appear. Scroll down until you see the document overview for each app that supports it. Select 360 Video DI and click "Add file" on the lower right corner.

6. Select the file you downloaded in the first step and select OK. The file should upload to your phone and into the 360 Video DI app. You should see it in the right section as a document.

7. Make sure your iPhone is not currently synchronizing and disconnect it from your MAC or PC.

8. On your iPhone open the 360 Video DI app and select "Media". The XCOR Virtual Space Expedition file should appear.

9. Tap on the file and select "normal mode" for regular viewing. This mode accepts touch and rotational input to change the viewpoint within the experience. Select "HMD mode" for viewing it with the Google Cardboard or a similar HMD device. Tap on the screen to show the options: Tap the crosshair icon to recenter the camera and the menu icon to go back to "Media".

EXPERIENCE THE XCOR VIRTUAL SPACE EXPEDITION ON YOUR ANDROID DEVICE: 

1. Download the appropriate file on your computer by option clicking (MAC) or right clicking (PC) and select "save as" (or similar, depending on your browser):

2. Download the app 360 Video Digital Immersion onto your smartphone via the PlayStore.

3. Connect your smartphone with your MAC or PC and copy the downloaded file into the directory PHONE>MOVIES on your smartphone.

4. Make sure the file was completely transferred onto your smartphone and disconnect it from your MAC or PC.

5. On your smartphone open the 360 Video DI app and select "Downloader" and then "Select from Gallery". Select "Photos" or "Gallery", depending on your device. If you have both options, either one should work.

6. The downloaded file should appear in the overview. Select it to add it to "Media" within the 360 Video DI app. Go back to the main menu of the app and select "Media". The XCOR Virtual Space Expedition file should appear.
